Costa del pino inverno azienda agricola

Built in the early 2000s

The history of the company starts in the early 1900s, passing through several generations until the early 2000s when Uncle Franco with the help of his sisters and nephew Maurilio built the current cowshed, which was only used for the winter period, giving the milk to the coop for the production of Fontina DOP!

Started Growing In 2017.

Arriving in 2017, Maurilio's nephew Patrick, son of Maurilio, joined the company and together they gave life to Costa del Pino S.S. agricola, taking its name from the intermediate station of the Cogne mine. In the years to follow, with Patrick's entry and the complicity of his partner Jacqueline after various courses, specialisations and with the help of a youth project carrying out modernisation work and the purchase of machinery, they implemented the transformation of freshly milked milk into bottled pasteurised milk, yoghurt, cold and mature cheeses directly at the farm. From summer 2023, in order to diversify, it was decided to add some delicatessen products, including Cogne mocetta and boudin, and lastly, artisanal agricultural ice cream to the delight of young and old alike.
